Position Summary
The Vice President of Quality, Compliance, Health, Safety & Environment (QCHSE) is a senior global leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and continually enhancing the company’s enterprise-wide approach to quality, regulatory compliance, operational integrity, workplace safety, and environmental responsibility.
Operating within a time-critical, high-precision logistics environment, this executive ensures that global operations meet the highest standards of reliability, risk management, and customer protection—particularly in aerospace, medical/life sciences, semiconductor, energy, and other mission-critical industries where accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable.
This role partners closely with executive leadership, regional management, regulatory bodies, key customers, and strategic vendors to uphold a world-class QCHSE framework across all global facilities, transportation modes, and service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Global Quality Leadership
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the global Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent processes, controls, and performance across all regions.
- Lead and maintain global certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GDP, TAPA, C-TPAT).
- Establish standardized quality metrics, operational KPIs, and governance structures.
- Conduct global audits and oversee corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Regulatory & Operational Compliance<
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes and guide executive teams.
- Define and enforce compliance policies and SOPs.
- Lead investigations into compliance deviations.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Leadership
- Develop and manage a global HSE program.
- Oversee safety reporting, root-cause analysis, and hazard reduction.
- Implement environmental sustainability strategies.
Global Risk Management
- Define enterprise risk assessment methodologies.
- Strengthen controls for time-critical logistics operations.
- Drive business continuity planning.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a global QCHSE team.
- Partner cross-functionally across operations, HR, IT, and commercial.
- Represent QCHSE during customer audits and industry forums.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience
- 20+ years of progressive experience in logistics, aviation, life sciences distribution, or similar industries.
- 10+ years in senior management or executive leadership roles.
- Experience leading global programs and multinational teams.
- Proven success with ISO-certified management systems.
- Extensive regulatory and risk-management background.

Location & Travel
Global leadership role requiring up to 40% international travel.
