Position Summary
The Regional Country Manager – Benelux is a senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. As part of EasyFlyers’ global leadership team, this individual ensures that regional performance aligns with our mission of delivering fast, precise, time-critical logistics solutions for high-value and high-urgency shipments.
This role requires a strong balance of strategic vision, hands-on operational management, and deep customer engagement to strengthen EasyFlyers’ market leadership in the Benelux region.
Regional Leadership & Business Development
- Lead all regional business activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand EasyFlyers’ presence in key time-critical sectors such as aerospace, life sciences, high-tech, automotive, and medical logistics.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships that strengthen market penetration.
- Represent EasyFlyers at regional industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements.
Operational Performance & Service Delivery
- Ensure operational teams deliver flawless time-critical performance, including on-time delivery, precision handling, and exceptional service.
- Maintain and enhance regional compliance with global EasyFlyers quality, security, and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with global operations, control towers, and international partners to optimize routes, reduce delays, and increase real-time visibility.
- Monitor operational KPIs and proactively address bottlenecks affecting customer commitments.
Customer & Partner Relationship Management
- Act as the senior regional point of contact for key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and rapid issue resolution.
- Oversee escalations, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely solutions aligned with time-critical expectations.
- Build strong relationships with agents, carriers, and specialty service providers throughout Benelux.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop regional managers and frontline operational teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement consistent with EasyFlyers’ service standards.
- Implement performance metrics, training programs, and engagement initiatives to strengthen team capability and retention.
P&L Management & Financial Accountability
- Oversee regional budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Drive profitability through optimization of cost structures, operational efficiencies, and commercial growth strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial controls and reporting standards.
Strategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement
- Translate global EasyFlyers strategy into actionable regional plans.
- Lead improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce waste and enhance customer experience.
- Provide market intelligence to global leadership on trends, risks, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of leadership experience in logistics, express courier, time-critical services, or related sectors.
- 10+ years managing multi-country or multi-site teams; Benelux experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record driving commercial growth and operational performance.
- Strong background in high-urgency or specialty logistics (AOG, medical, life sciences, high-tech, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to make rapid, accurate decisions in mission-critical environments.
- Fluent in English; Flemish, Dutch and/or French highly preferred.
