Regional Director, EMEA

Reports To: Executive Vice President (EVP)

Position Summary

The Regional Director, EMEA is an executive leadership role responsible for the full operational, commercial, and financial performance of the EMEA region. Reporting directly to the EVP, this leader will oversee multiple country offices and ensure the highest standards of operational execution, customer service excellence, and financial discipline across all regional activities.

This role carries full regional P&L responsibility and requires a seasoned leader capable of driving performance, building high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and scaling operations within a fast-paced, time-critical logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership across all EMEA offices, ensuring alignment with global strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Own full regional P&L performance, including revenue growth, cost control, margin improvement, and EBITDA contribution.
  • Drive operational excellence across time-critical logistics operations, ensuring precision, speed, and reliability.
  • Elevate customer service standards to deliver best-in-class client experience and measurable KPI performance.
  • Oversee regional leadership teams, ensuring accountability, succession planning, and continuous development.
  • Implement standardized operational processes, compliance frameworks, and performance metrics across the region.
  • Partner with Commercial leadership to support key account growth, retention, and strategic expansion initiatives.
  • Lead risk management, compliance adherence, and regulatory alignment across all EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service quality, and scalability.
  • Provide regular executive reporting to the EVP on financial performance, operational KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
Leadership & Management Scope
  • Direct leadership of country managers, operations directors, and regional functional heads.
  • Oversight of multi-country operational and customer service teams.
  • Strategic hiring, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Authority over regional budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
  • Executive representation of the EMEA region within global leadership forums.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience within time-critical, specialty, or express logistics environments.
  • 8+ years of progressive senior leadership experience managing multi-site or multi-country operations.
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivery of sustainable financial growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, KPI management, and service performance optimization.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting enterprise and multinational clients.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across diverse regulatory environments.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence at board and C-level stakeholder levels.
